Now that our busy summer schedules have been taken care of, the kids are back in school and the weather is getting cooler, it’s time to put YOU back on the front burner.
Join Kulsoom Kazim of @kulsoomlifecoach, a Muslim coach, author and speaker, as she guides us through an afternoon of mindful self care. Her goal is to “help Muslim women use positive thoughts and mindfulness techniques to understand and heal from the challenges life has thrown at them so that they can unleash their potential and lead an impactful life”.
So you may be asking what is mindful blooming? Simply put, it is becoming aware and in tune with your mind, body and heart so that you can listen and attend to what they are saying. Mindfulness is bringing your attention to the present moment by focusing on breathing, and taking the time to become aware of your thoughts and choosing new empowering thoughts. We encourage you to bring a notebook and pen as you’ll want to jot down the mindfulness tips from Kulsoom and refer to them in your everyday life.
Our time together will include:
